• Type:  Palace Entertainment is the largest family amusement and waterpark operator in the U.S. with 33 parks and over 12 million visitors annually.

• Location:  nine different states in the U.S.

• Owner:  MidOcean Partners (sold to Parques Reunidos in 2007)

• Value Range:  US$200 million acquisition, US$170 million in annual revenues, US$35 million annual EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization)

• Team role:  John Cora served as Chief Executive Officer of Palace Entertainment; Dan Martinez served as Chief Operating Officer; Mike McGee served as Vice President of Finance; and  Dave Omel served as Vice President of Operations; collectively they served as MidOcean’s operating partner, spear-heading the due diligence analysis, acquisition (April 2006) and post-acquisition integration of the company.
